Refrigerated Ductility Testing Machine

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
The ductility of bituminous material is the distance in centimeters to which it will elongate before breaking when a briquette specimen of the materials is pulled at a specified speed and at specified temperature. The briquette is stretched at a rate of 10mm/min and 50 mm/min.± 2.5mm per minute at a temperature of 27°C ± 0.5°C .The Machine is having built in refrigeration system to work a below ambient temperature up to 10°C in tropical conditions. The temperature range is +10°C to 40°C and the machine will operate at 27°C with control accuracy of ± 0.5°C as per the requirement of IS.
The machine is completely fabricated in Stainless Steel (interior & exterior both)

NOTE: WE HAVE REPLACED THE GEAR BOX WITH A MOTOR (IT IS FIRST TIME IN INDIA)

Procedure:
An asphalt sample is funneled into a mold form to make a specified form, and it is kept at a constant temperature in the constant temperature water bath for a specified time. It is then dragged horizontally at a specified speed until it is cut off, and the distance of such ductility is measured. A circulating type refrigerator is equipped with this tester to automatically keep the test temperature.
