PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
The ductility of bituminous material is the distance in centimeters to which it will elongate before breaking when a briquette specimen of the materials is pulled at a specified speed and at specified temperature. The briquette is stretched at a rate of 10mm/min and 50 mm/min.± 2.5mm per minute.
The temperature range is Ambient +5°C to 40°C. The internal chamber is made of stainless steel and external body is made of mild steel

Procedure:
An asphalt sample is funneled into a mold form to make a specified form, and it is kept at a constant temperature in the constant temperature water bath for a specified time. It is then dragged horizontally at a specified speed until it is cut off, and the distance of such ductility is measured. A circulating type refrigerator is equipped with this tester to automatically keep the test temperature.
